1 - Nearly 2000 years ago, a man was falsely convicted and made a sacrificial lamb for corrupt political beings. Today, we have an innocent man condemned to die in a prison cell by corrupt political beings. Isn't it ironic that the dateline show should air on the same day, almost 2000 years later, as the day He was sent to the cross? Almost poetic. (Comment this)

7 - It will be on at 8pm MDT. This has been a confirmed time with the exception of a major national event (war, assassination, outbreak, etc.) We will keep you updated with information as we receive it. (Comment this)

13 - You say,
"There is a confession that has been upheld by the courts time and time again."
So what, that doesn't mean they don't make mistakes. Example, the supreme court would not even hear Barry's case. Why? It is short and simple, they said that he confessed to this crime to the detectives and even to his attorney, Mr. Kidd.
(Go to montanansforjustice.com, then go to case details, then go to Click below to be your own investigator, the documents are there)
Here is the problem though. They didn't contact Mr. Kidd. They just took the word of the Attorney Generals office. (The government wouldn't lie to us, would they? I am from the government I am here to help you?) If you believe any of that you are truly nieve.
Anyway, so then someone get ahold of Kidd and guess what? He says he never said that. NEVER NEVER. But the courts (supreme one), as you say, won't here this again, they say case closed. I think we need an uprising in this country. It started once, after the Ruby Ridge deal, and the Waco deal, then the Freeman deal (who the Gov.'s uncle was involved with).
We probably need to wake up and smell the roses. They are not here to help us, it is the government. I don't trust them and I never will.
You say the courts have upheld this, what a joke. You probably work for the government, I will lay odds on it. (Comment this)

16 - Hey, M.W. Ive got to give you your props. You do have a confession that keeps Barry in jail. You have to hang your hat on on it because as you well know there is NO evidence or even a witness who saw him out the night of the murder. In your world there is no such thing as a false confession or wrongful imprisonment, despite Jimmy Baumgartner. In the back of your mind though you wonder if your wrong, but you cant let yourself admit that thought. You have got to be dreading next Friday and the attention this will focus on you. In the mean time you've got to keep on saying "well he confessed". It's all you got. (Comment this)

17 - I am sure alot of people are going to be squirming come next Friday. You know what is really sad, the government can and will do whatever they choose to keep their "SUPERIOR" status, because that makes them big people, and we the peons are all here going back and forth about the truth and they sit in their plush little offices with furniture MADE by Barry Beach, and they watch us..
Marc Rasciot will one day have to PAY for ALL the BS he has handed down, all the drugs he has had carted into our state, and all the lies he has told to get where he is,,,
Brian Schweitzer is our Governor, who we all believed in and now,,, he too, is hiding in his office and allowing this to happen in HIS STATE??
I really thought he of all people would not allow this to happen and for him to "rubber stamp" this instead of acting on it,.,.he has the power and if he says he doesn't then he should darn well find someone who does.. (Comment this)

18 - We the people of the State of Montana and the United States of America elected these officials to serve and protect us, not their own interests. I believe it is time that they know this. If our government officals don't want to do what is right (freeing an innocent man and getting murderers off the streets), then we do not need to re-elect them to office. Let us not support politicians who only serve their own interests. That is not what our country was founded on and that is not how Montanans live. (Comment this)

23 - Well, it turns out that both of you are wrong. Dateline NBC found a story that would be better matched against the NCAA tournament on their competitor's broadcast. Dateline chose to hold off on the revealing of this case for rating purposes only. The story is complete and they were ready to air it on Friday. It will be aired soon and the truth will be told: There is no evidence to convict Barry Beach. (Comment this)

I would change my opinion right now if you can show me one shred of evidence implicating Barry Beach. Oh, and a coerced confession does not count as evidence. I double dog dare you. Do you know what those words mean or did you have to go to the public library to look them up? In my opinion, I don't think the news media cares what the GOP thinks when it comes to corruption. 37 - You are being singled out by a man who has a college degree, never smoked a pipe, is a member of the Republican party, Caucasian, not a zealot, used to be friends with Marc Racicot and went to Church with him, know a lot about this crime and knows that Barry Beach is innocent. Dateline NBC is running the story not at the request of anybody in Montana, but because they feel it is a newsworthy story. You can blame them for proving you wrong, but I suggest you get some knowledge of what you are speaking about before you make a fool of yourself anymore. (Comment this)

38 - Much of the conversation above has degenerated to name calling. Sure there are a lot of dopers reading this blog but that is irrelevant. Doing the right thing or the wrong thing for that matter happens in both political parties. Anyones education level has nothing to do with the truth of this case. If you cannot provide a single fact to support your contention that Barry Beach is guilty then I suppose name calling is all you are capable of. I myself also vote Republican but can still recognize injustice from one of my own (Racicot). Please reach down deep for some modicum of maturity and try to raise the level of debate. I do understand your frustration. You want Barry to be guilty but it appears the facts do not support that. From here out I challenge anyone who writes he is guilty to provide one fact supporting that besides his tainted confession to three murders given to detectives who admit at least two were given falsely. (Comment this)

39 - Perhaps this topic will force the state of Montana to examine the justice system. Justice in the rural communities seeks to passify the victims and let fear rule the decision making process. A man can be sent to prison because their are limited resources in small communities to facilitate cognitive and behavioral changes. From my observation, Montana could benefit from examing their sentencing guidelines. It is my hope that bringing this topic to the national will inspire Montana to improve the system for which the taxpayers bear the brunt of supporting, not to mention the toll it takes on family members financially and emotionally. (Comment this)

44 - I think that once Dateline does their show, it is going to show that Barry Beach is very close to obtaining freedom. The responsible parties in the Kim Nees murder are going to know this too. How many times have we seen this situation in our judicial system. The first one to come forward with information almost always gets a lighter sentence. Everyone else that follows gets the hammer. They are in a game of 5 card stud and about to get the fifth card. Do you fold and keep something to play with later, or keep betting on luck and lose everything. With the stakes in this game, I'd be singing like a canary...if it were me. (Comment this)

YOU JUST DON'T SEEM TO GET IT. No one is trying to get a murder set free. (I will go real slow for you.) B A R R Y, D I D N O T D O T H E C R I M E H E I S N O T A M U R D E R E R. If you think he did show any one of us, just one SINGLE PIECE OF EVIDENCE.

You are all talk and no action, C'mon, I dare you, ONE SINGLE PIECE OF EVIDENCE, other then a confession, which by the way, they erased the tapes to.

NEXT, you say no one else is involved. (Again, I will go real slow for you.) B L O O D Y P A L M P R I N T, N O T, B A R R Y ' S N O T K I M ' S obviously someone else is involved. There are numerous other things to show more then one person involved.

Go to montanansforjustice.com and maybe you will learn something about this case other then what you have learned reading the stalls in the restroom. You are a joke chump, now just go away. WOW, WHY DID I WASTE MY TIME ON YOU.

Isn't it strange that the board of pardons & parole decides to parole William David Faught, whos' crime overshadows Barrys' by miles one month after Barry is turned down. Isn't that pretty close to putting my Lord and Savior up before the public and saying, " Which do you choose; Jesus or Barabas "? The timing and the delay in his hearing are too hoakey for me. Keep thinking and praying for him. The longer this goes on, the more support Barry gains. (Comment this)
